What is Haavisa?
Haavisa is a private online visa assistance platform. We are not a government agency. Our service fee covers document verification, error-checking, application submission support, and processing assistance.
Which countries do you support?
We currently support visa applications for Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. More countries are coming soon.
How long does processing take?
Processing depends on the service tier you choose: Guided (3 - 5 working days), Priority (2 - 3 working days), Express (1 working day), and Concierge (same day). These are Haavisa service estimates and are not guaranteed; government processing time is separate and may take longer.
What documents do I need?
Requirements vary by destination and nationality. Typically you need a valid passport (6+ months validity), passport photo, flight confirmation, and hotel booking. Use our Visa Check tool to see exact requirements.
How much does it cost?
Our base service fee starts at $29 per destination. Choose a tier for faster processing: Guided (+$0), Priority (+$20), Express (+$40), or Concierge (+$60). Government visa fees are separate, set by each country, and always shown upfront.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are available if your application has not yet been submitted to the relevant authority. Once submitted, government fees are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use SSL encryption for all data transmission and securely store your documents. We never share your personal information with third parties except as required for visa processing.
What if my visa is denied?
Visa approval is at the sole discretion of the relevant government authority. If denied, we will inform you of the reason and help you understand your options. Our service fee covers the application assistance, not guaranteed approval.
How do I apply?

Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is not typically required for visa applications but is highly recommended for all international travel. Some countries may require proof of insurance for certain visa types.
How much are the government visa fees?
Government fees are set by each country and always shown separately: Kenya eTA $30, Somalia eVisa $70, Ethiopia eVisa $62, and Djibouti eVisa $23 (short stay) or $12 (transit). Our service fee starts at $29 on top.
What visa types are available for Djibouti?
Djibouti offers two eVisa types through its official portal (evisa.gouv.dj): the Short Stay eVisa (CS90, 15 - 90 days, $23) and the Transit Visa (TS15, 1 - 14 days, $12). Djibouti also offers a priority (express) option on its own portal for a €150 surcharge; Haavisa does not resell that option.
What documents do I need for a Djibouti eVisa?
A passport valid for at least 6 months, a passport-style photograph, your flight ticket or itinerary, and your accommodation - a hotel booking confirmation, or an invitation letter from your host with their contact details. Payments are by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
