It is a semi-automated system that verifies traveler information and documents before granting entry. The eTA replaces the previous visa-on-arrival process for most nationalities, making the entry process faster and more efficient. The Kenya eTA is typically issued as a single-entry visa valid for 90 days from the date of approval. Travelers must enter Kenya within this 90-day validity period, or the eTA becomes invalid. For US passport holders, a multiple-entry eTA valid for up to 5 years is available, allowing multiple visits within the validity period. The maximum stay per visit is 90 days.
